This is my picture for january 1st. It's a picture of my mom, my grandfather and our little boy. I selected this picture, because my dear grandfather is in it. He's 83 years old and untill last spring hadn't seen a doctor for over 20 years. In the last couple of months he had two heart surgeries and stayed in the hospital for quite some time. Now he has a pace-maker and should be fine. We all hope to have him with us for quite some years to come, but we also realise every New Year can be his last. That's why I tresure this picture very much...
